Trusting In the Lord

Feb. 11, 2013
Today I thought I would share of God’s greatness.  It has been two weeks since my surgery, and I am proud to say that God has revealed so much to me in these two weeks.  I have been healing greatly and just so thrilled to be healed soon.  It has been a struggle for me to have patience while in the healing process. A scripture that has helped me through the process is “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he, will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
God has shown me that it is okay to not be a tough cookie or a strong willed girl, that feels like I does not need anyone’s help.  God really has used me a lot here and I am blessed for the people He has put in my life.  For instance, Alicia has been a great impact in my life since I have been here. She always looks out for me as if I was one of her own children.  God has blessed me with a family to stay with that shows God’s kindness and love.   I learn from them every day.  We need to trust in the Lord, it is a struggle, but our Lord has his hand on you and me every day.   Everything we do should be glorifying to the Lord, even if we lose it some of the time.
Overall it has been a tough two weeks for me, but God provided like he always will and surrounded me with people that care and love me. We all need to put our Trust in the Lord, for He will always provide.   As Psalms 56:3-4 says, “When I am afraid, I will trust in You.  In God, whose word I praise, In God I trust; I will not fear.  What can man do to me?”  This is what I rely on and use to vent when I have troubled times, but support and encouragement from others also help.  Call onto the Lord and He will help you through everything.
Please pray that I may find trust in Christ Jesus, and remember to lean on Him for everything. He is my rock and my Salvation. Also, for Mozambique and the food intake there with the help of Samaria Mission Also that I focus on the reason I am here, to be a servant for the Lord, and to help the Raley Family with Luke. Also that I “Woman of God,” that my walk will be strong every day especially while I am here.  Finally pray that God gives me another opportunity to serve in Mozambique with Samaria Mission, for that is where I feel God wants me to be.  Thank You, “Lean On Him”.
